Show Berry wins first in State EASTER RELIGIOUS dpCSTTpC Competition Tom Berry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Berry, of Monticello, competed in the State Tournament in Provo last week with By others of his classmates. Tom took first place, with a superior rating, in Radio Speaking. Tom has a fine singing voice, and plays a coronet in the Francis Lyman Band. He also gives private lessons to 15 students of the coronet. Tom will graduate from Monticello High School this spring and has been offered a full scholarship to Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, for his drama and music Congratulations to Mrs. Adams and the students from San Juan who participated in the Drama Meet. The participants worked hard for the trophys they won. Mary Blickenstaff, Sue Nielson, Jean Nielson and Layne Jones will represent San Juan at State on April 11. Also many of the other participants won alternate positions. The business meet was held in Durago at Fort Lewis College on March 27. Ramona Guymon and Nona Bayles placed third. The girls who entered from San Juan should be congratulated on the efforts they put forth. ability.
