Show Springville Girl Is Married In Los Angeles An interesting June nuptial event announced this week is the marriage of" Miss Marie Hooper, daughter of Mrs. Earl Haymond of this city, to Jack M. Coffin, son of Mr.- and Mrs. ' N. M. Coffin " of Campton, Calif., and formerly of Ogden. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Reverend Julius Dubose in the Wedding Manor at Los Angeles. The bride was attired in a powder pow-der blue ensemble with pink accessories ac-cessories and carried a corsage of sweetheart pink rosebuds and lil-ies-of-the-valley. The young couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Coffin, brother bro-ther and sister-in-law of the groom. Following the ceremony, the young couple left on a short honeymoon to San Diego, after which they will make their , home in Torrence, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Forest Peirce of Los Angeles, following a week-end visit at the Murdock ranch as guests ; of Mr. and Mrsr Charles Conover, have gone to Yellowstone Yellow-stone park. THE SEAMSTRESS CLUB MET AT THE HOME OF their leader, Mrs. Harriet Strong, Wednesday evening. Darning of! stockings- was the- project taken up. The following members were present: Bonnie Baxter, Lorraine Nostrum, Dolores Wheeler, Joan Blackett, JoAnn Stewart; Connie Maycock, Geraldine Hatch, Na-dine Na-dine Snow, Mrs. Pearl Brammall, and the hostess. The next meeting is scheduled to be held at the Second ward church. THE 4-H NEEDLE AND THREAD CLUB met at the home of Mrs. Naomi McKee, where Dorothy Mae Groes-beck Groes-beck and Kathleen Peterson gave a demonstration on darning hosiery. hos-iery. Present were Betty Jean Alle-man, Alle-man, Jean Boyer, Shirlene Poul-sen, Poul-sen, Phyllis Kindred, Shirley Allen, Al-len, Kathleen Peterson, Dorothy Mae Groesbeck. On the previous meeting, Beth Ann Anderson and Peggy Crandall gave a demonstration demonstra-tion on a sewing kit.
