Show r Barbecue at Night To Be Innovation Parade, Patriotic Program, Sports For Children, Band Concerts And Other Major Events Outlined Just as dawn breaks tomorrow morning, the traditional tra-ditional twenty-four gun salute will be given, officially offi-cially ushering in a mammoth Fourth of July celebration celebra-tion as Springville joins with other cities of the na- tion in the observance of one hundred and sixty-five years of American independence. Under the direction of the Springville Chamber of Commerce and with the cooperation of civic and religious organizations in the city, the celebration includes a variety of major events that will be sure to please the most particular of observers. Important events of the day will be children's sports, band concerts, con-certs, a patriotic program, a miniature min-iature parade, a big barbecue, ball games, trick horse performances, and other events. Prizes will be given for the children's sports and for the prize-winning prize-winning entries in the parade. In the evening delicious, juicy, beef sandwiches will.be given free to those entering the ball park for the barbecue and evening's program of ball games, horse show, and other stunt features. Citizens of Springville and vicinity vi-cinity are invited to participate in the patriotic program in the afternoon after-noon and to hear the band concert under the direction of Walter Peterson Pe-terson which precedes the program, pro-gram, Earl J.
