Show a SODA FOUNTAINS TO PAY RESTAURANT TAX FOR LUNCH SERVICE A. E. Smith, representing the Milord Mil-ord State Bank, appeared before the town board nt the regular meeting Thursday evening in the city offices, to petition for a reduction of interest on sidewalk assessments on property lately taken over by the bank. The adjustment of interest was turned over to town attorney, Sam Cline. City Marshal, Roy Coleman, appeared ap-peared in behalf of Mrs. Berny Oka-hara Oka-hara and asked for authority to demand de-mand restaurant licenses of the business busi-ness houses in Milford that are serving serv-ing sandwitches ami light lunches. The board authorized Coleman to collect license fee from such places of business. After the transaction of some rou- tine business, the meeting was ad journed. Absent: George Fernley and Les Clay. |
