Show HOSE TEAM 2 WINS WATER FIGHT WHEN VOLUNTEERS MIX After industriously washing down Main street, two hose teams of the Milford volunteer fire department mixed in a water fight Monday evening. even-ing. A superior nozzle and greater man power won the skirmish for hose team number two headed by Max Root who had the assistance of Lawrence Eas-ton Eas-ton and Tom Schow. Roy Carlson and Keith Fernley, manning hose number one were unable to stem the onslaught and had to surrender but not after putting up a credible fight. A scarsity of oil skins and sou' westers was all that prevented the entire en-tire fire department from joining in J the battle. Following the strenuous engagement, engage-ment, F. 0. Osborne set up the drinks for the boys in recognition of the service ser-vice they had rendered the town in general by cooling off the streets. |
