Seal and daughters Beverly and Joy are enjoying a very dehght ul vacation visiting friends ana re latives in Oregon, Washington and California. Blaine Peterson, CaJ Hunt Norman Steel and Cal Crump of Lark and Gray Kenner of Bingham Bing-ham returned last week from two week's cruise aboard tW USS Bremerton. These boys are i naval reservists. I Mr and Mrs. Dallas Draper were dinner guests Tuesday evening ev-ening of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Draper of Salt Lake City. I Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Peterson were Salt Lake City visitors Monday. Mrs. Fred A. Becktel recently entertained fur her daughter Ann on her birthday. Fourteen guests were present and all received prizes. A delicious luncheon and large birthday cake were enjoyed. enjoy-ed. Many lovely gifts were received re-ceived bv the honored guest. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Coombs and daughter Ellen and Mrs. Zelma Peterson enjoyed a picnic lunch at Liberty park July 4. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nell and family and Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Taylor and family of Herri-man Herri-man spent July 4th week-end at Fish Lake. ! Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Peterson visited Monday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Parry of Herri man. Darwin Peterson, Delmar Schick and Jack Robison returned return-ed home Wednesday morning after af-ter a three weeks' trip touring the northwest and California. H. T. Nelson, brother-in-law of Mrs. Dell Nell, visited Friday and Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Nell en route from California to Denver. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Becktel of Rockford, Colo., are now visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Becktel of Butterfield canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Diaper, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Walker and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Max Seal and son Craig of Midvale and Wayne Nielsen spent from Thursday Thurs-day to Sunday in Big Cottonwood Cotton-wood canyon. They were joined the night of the Fourth by Mr. and Mrs. Leland Nielsen and daughter Virginia Lee. A large-chicken large-chicken dinner was enjoyed by all. Mr. and Mrs. Coy MichaeLseii now have their new baby son at home. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Coombs and daughter Ellen, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. George Kirol. Mr. and Mrs. La-Mar La-Mar Peterson and children, Mr and Mrs. Paskie Conti and sun and Mrs. Zelma Peterson enjoyed enjoy-ed a weenie roast up Butterfield canyon Saturday. Donald Williams of Rock Springs, Wyo., was overnight guest Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Peterson. |
