Show FOUN D ATI ON OFFERS NURSE SCHOLARSHIPS Thirty - five scholarships to young women who desire to become be-come graduate nurses but cannot can-not finance their own training will be awarded by the Bamberger Bam-berger Memorial Foundation within the next six weeks, William Wil-liam II. Olwell, foundation scc-' scc-' retary, has announced. The scholarships are in memory mem-ory of Ruth Eleanor Bamberger and John Ernest Bamberger, daughter and son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bamberger. With the need still growing for more nurs.:s, Mr. Olwell said that young women are invited to apply to hospitals which havu a nurse training program or to Brigham Young University, Univer-sity, Provo; Weber Junior College, Col-lege, Ogden; Westminster College' Col-lege' or St. Mary of the Wasatch, Salt Lake City. Since 1947, the foundation has each year awarded the scholarships on the basis of need and the applicant's ability and qualifications. |
