Show PATENTNOjn C ES. Application for Patent. Notice No. 1,390. United States Land Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, December 24, 1885. VTOTICK IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT HENRY 1 F. Samson, of Salt Lake City, Utah, haa made application for a United States patent for the Lena mining ?laim, situate in West Mountain Moun-tain Mining District, Salt Lake county Utah Territory, consisting of 1,500 linear feet of the lode, and surface ground 194.85 feet wide being Lot No. 362, and described in the field notes and plat of the official survey on file in this office, with magnetic variation at 17 degrees de-grees east, as follows: Commencing at post No 1, a corner of the claim, from which U. S. Mineral Min-eral Monument No. 5 bears north 35 decrees 41 minutes west 1,171.6 feet distant, and running thence north 26 degrees east 725 feet to Post NoT 2: thence north 51 degrees east 775 feet to Post o.3: thence south 55 degrees east 200 feet to Post No. 4: thence south 51 degrees west 775 feet to Post No. 5: thence south 26 degrees west 725 to.p.osJ No- 6; 'hence north 55 degrees west 200 feet to Post No. 1, the place of beginning of exterior bounds, expressly excepting and excluding, ex-cluding, however, from the above described are so much thereof as is embraced and included in-cluded in the Jordan, Lot 64; Flagstaff, Lot 149-Croesus, 149-Croesus, Lot 51: Horace Greely. Lot 142-; Last Chance, Lot 48; Last Chance, Lot 157: the area claimed being 5.19 acres. The said mining claim being of record in-the office of the Recorder Re-corder of said mining district at Bingham, in Salt Lake county Utah. The nearest known locations being the Jordan, Lot 64- Flagstaff Lot 149; Croesus, Lot 51 : Hooper, Lot 266 ; Horace Greely, Lot 142; Last Chance. Lot 48: and Last Chance, Lot lo7, claims iu said mining district I direct that this notice be published in the Salt Lake Evening Democrat, the newspaper published nearest-the said mining claim for the period of sixty days.
