Show The Old and the New Librarians. Miss Ida E. Hill, the Masonic librarian, has resigned the position so well filled the past five years, to visit friends in the east, and follow some special studies foremost in her desires. Mis Annie Carpenter becomes Miss Hill's successor, under the management manage-ment of Grand Librarian Diehl. Miss Carpenter is a most competent and worthy person to assume the special duties so long and efficiently performed by Miss Hill, and it is hoped that the commendable institution will be marked by the same progress in the future as in the past. |
