I Late on Wednesday evening, says the Ogden News, the public was thrown into a degree of consternation by the announcement an-nouncement that a fatal accident had occurred oc-curred at the mouth of Ogden canyon. - It appears that three young men of Huntsville had spent the day together in this citv. Thev left with their team about 5 o'clock in the evening, returning homeward. home-ward. They were in a perfectly sound i and sober condition, but the inclem- j ency of the , weather had made the, roads rather '' dangerous to travel. Especially was . this found to be the case when they reached the embankment em-bankment near the bridge at the mouth j of Ogden canyon, whereby some as yet j unaccounted-for-mishap the team and vehicle, with all three occupants, fell into the surging waters. Axel E. Berlin, a ! young married man who plies the vocation voca-tion of a dentist in Huntsville, broke his neck in the fearful fall, and died instantly. instant-ly. The two others were badly bruised and scratched, as well as drenched, but not dangerously wounded. V , The remains of the deceased-who is given a general good character for industry, indus-try, honesty and sobriety were taken to his residence.
