Marshal Ireland had previously been .notified of the fact, however, ir and of course if k mg not ake P,ace- Treseder, who had. manifested. some suspicion, kept a close watch on his confederate all the time, and had, in order to prove Murray's reliability, solicited him to assist in several safe robberies, which, how- ever, had been deferred. Murray is sincere and unequivocating in his story and says he hadn't an idea that Treseder would be guilty of such a plot, although he knew him to be devilish mean |
