Show Applications accepted for youth summer jobs for yquth who are interested in the summer program. Each individual must meet the income guidelines. For more information please call 451-3350 or 451-3366. The Davis County Summer Youth Employment and Training Program (SYETP) is looking for youth who want to work and desire ,new skills. The Summer Program provides work experience at public agencies and other services, which gives youth the opportunity to learn new skills and develop self-confidence. Youth can work approximately 200 hours and earn wages at $3.35 an hour between June 8 to Aug. 20. In addition to working, youth will attend a labor market orientation seminar. Approximately 130 youth ranging in age 14-21 will be served in Davis County. : Reading and math classes will be offered for youth ages 16-21. The Literacy Program is a combination of classroom training and a worksite. work-site. It will provide youth an opportunity oppor-tunity to learn basic skills, earn school credits, and work at a worksite work-site part-time.
