Show Artists should plan now for Competition 587 show Artists who are current residents of Davis County are invited to begin be-gin planning their entries for the upcoming Davis County Competition Competi-tion Show: "Competition 87" at the Bountiful-Davis Art Center. The juried exhibit of paintings, drawings and prints will open May 10. Receiving for those who wish to enter their works will be held at the Bountiful-Davis Art Center, 2175 S. Main, Bountiful on Friday, May 1 from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Satur-day, May 2 from 2-5 p.m. Artists may enter up to three works. Entry fee is $10 and is nonrefundable. non-refundable. Works chosen to be displayed may be for sale. Awards of first, second, third ' place and honorable mentions will be given. Juror for this exhibit is Richard Johnston, professor of art at the University of Utah. Works entered must be original in nature, completed within the past two years and never before exhibited at the Bountiful-Davis Art Center.
