Show Both Sides Still Confident. Cinciknati, October 21. If there is no delay de-lay on account of the controversy over imperfect im-perfect returns, it is probable that the official canvass of the Hamilton county vote will be completed to-day. So far both sides are claiming the election of the legislative candidates. "The total vote in the first twenty wards of Cincinnati, omitting two. precincts whose returns are irregular, and" which are both Democratic, gives Hoadlev 22,556, Foraker 21,858, and Leonard 715. The vote on Senators, Sen-ators, Democratic, range from 22,147 to 22,701; Republican, from 21,421 to 21,540. After the city vote is counted the country precincts remain to be counted, which will prolong the work until late to-night. |
