Show WOOD RIVER MINES Notes of Interest to the Salt Lake Stockholders The following notes of interest to Salt Lake parties holding stock in the Wood River mines are clipped from the Hailey Times W H Yearian of Salt Lake City came to Hailey last week to visit the Hailey Hill mine in which he is interested in-terested Mr Yearian informed a Times reporter that the workings had attained a depth of about 250 feet and that they showed ore pretty much all the way The 100 tons or so shipped sometime some-time ago for a test proved the ore to be of good shipping grade The management man-agement now seeking depth leaving the ore cut into in place with the view of making a mine out of what has hitherto been only a good prospect Mr Yearian said that on the whole ho was pleased with the appearance of the property and he looks for a good output of ore before the summer is over The experimental runs on Gold Belt ores have demonstrated that a great proportion pro-portion of the precious metals contained in them can only be saved by concentration concentra-tion With suitable appliances this can be done without extra costs over the present methods of reduction Any company or individual intending to mill Gold Belt ores should therefore not fail to put in concentrators when erecting reduction re-duction works A new strike of twelve feet of ore in the lowest level of the Minnie Moore is reported The Minnie Moore is a mine a big mineand there is no doubt about it |
