Show I liidicutlons BALTIMOHE March HIt was ntw red to day that an important conference of railroad rail-road men was to be held in the city during the day but as no prominent names were to be found or uiy of the hotel registers rumor did not see ell founded In the afternoon after-noon however it was discovered that a party of three was stopping at a prominent hotel and that they had been closeted for several hours with Mr John K Cowen the counsel for the Baltimore k Ohio Railroad The gentlemen were ascertained ascer-tained to be Messrs W C Boone H I Ives and G H Straynor of New York They refused to see reporters They are known to have left the city tonight It is not known whether or not Garrett was seen by them Baltimore Ohio officials have no information of any kind for the public but say the press will have all desired information informa-tion at the proper time |
