Show The Bingham I'Jater System i . We take this opporunity to express our gratification and our apprecla- tlon to the lenient and patient dispo- , aition of most of the citizens of Bingham Bing-ham during our trials and trlbula-'. trlbula-'. tlons with the Bingham Water Sys tern. . Unfortunately, Immediately after the appointment of the new water waster, the water tried to make its j exit with the old boyu. It was a cae of "now you see it," and "now you j don't." The boys continued to say, "Tag, ou're it." Until old nature's liquid flowed in the natural channels, after all leaks were sealed, the boys were handicapped as they had no specifications spe-cifications to go by not even an ln telligent diagram to guide them. I congratulate them! , During our trlali and tribulations we teoeived discourteous telephone calls, which we have, forgiven. We also received anonymous letters informing in-forming us of our inefficiency, and requesting that we put tse old men, back, as the water system could not be handled without them, and that we owed it to the tax-payers to put . them back and protect the people. In my opinion men who' have not the courage tOL place their signature under their remarka, are undesirable, ! and un-American, however such individuals indi-viduals are uninformed, and we for-give for-give them, and are willing to show them the road to light, you know the least informed are the most critical. j We assure the people that we have the common sense to handle this system, sys-tem, and wre also wish to a.sure them that, when we go oat of office two years henoe, they will have at leaat, aa Intelligent diagram, and our-S ' will continue - wUhotfPtwi'j 1timr the new water men In becoming acquainted ac-quainted with the system for the protection pro-tection of the community. It seems to me that a water system that cct3 the taxpayers perhaps two hundred thousand dollarsi should be adequate for all needs, and without capricious characteristics, with an efficient reservoir, sufficiently large enough to hold a supply to meet emergency emer-gency needs. V wish to bow profoundly to the magnaimous spirit of Mr J. D. Shilling, Shil-ling, a man who seemed interested, and who had information of a helpful nature. The interest he displayed proved the loyal disposition of a real gentleman. We intend to give you the efficiency effici-ency you deserve, and assure you that we have your welfare at heart, you know it is human to err, and dl- ririe to forgive, let u3 make the latter our motto. It should be the desire of everyone to make Bingham more desirable to live in, by forwarding proper hygiene, and sanitation, proper homes, desirable desir-able public eating and rooming houses, well conducted places of amusement. L t 'us all cooperate in unity for the benefit of everyone. Let us be loyal to the merchants of Bingham, as they are carrying the load and to .recced, need our support. Let our slogan be, "Lire in Bingham." Jan. 14, 1928. DR. J. F. FLYNN. |
