Show A TWOHEADED CALF The Curiosity Horn to a Salt Lake Cow on Tuesday On Tuesday morning last a cow belonging belong-ing to Mr T J Parker who lives at No 24G West First South street gave birth to a curiosity which had it lived would have made the eyes of Barnum himself water This was nothing more nor less than a calf with two perfectly formed heads and necks The heads were both equally well developed and had the animal lived there is no doubt that it could have eaten a double amount of rations as its two sets of jaws were perfectly formed and of the averae size The necks were joined onto the wethers at the usual place There was nothing unusual about the remainder of the body except the breadth of the wethers made necessary for holding the necks The animal was killed in being born but it willstill be preserved as a curiosity curi-osity it having been stuffed by John Stanley It will soon be exhibited |
