Show Foot Amputated Dr Bean of Eagle Rock arrived in this city a few days ago with a young man named Frank St Clair a son of V P PSt P-St Clair former U N superintendent The young man was suffering from a disease dis-ease of the foot known professionally as periostitis and he had previously undergone under-gone an operation at the hands of Drs I Bean and Mitchell of Ogden He was taken to the Sisters Hospital and today the entire foot was amputated at the ankle I joint by Drs Benedict and Fowler in the presence of Drs Potter Bean and Mitchell It is feared a second amputa I j tion may be necessary as there are indications I indi-cations of disease above the ankle |
