Show Jobs lobs available through co op SP SIP Van Horn Staff Writer riter Since the beginning of winter quarter pale green diamond shaped posters have cropped up suddenly on bulletin boards in almost every building across the campus Could this be a practical joke in progress These unusual posters are part of the Cooperative Education departments department's way of getting the word out to students about the the many job opportunities available to them in the op co-op program Through the op co-op program students can find jobs that will give them experience in their area of study give them real college college college col col- col- col lege credit to apply toward graduation and at the same time give them a steady paycheck every two weeks The posters were created in the diamond shape and pale green color in order to be easily to students and andin andin andin in hopes that they would stand out against the barrage of other notices ads and posters plastered across the campus Included with the posters are pamphlets located in a box attached attached attached at at- to the center of each poster that describes the op co-op program and explains what it can do for students Surrounding the box of pam pamphlets on the outer edges of the poster are eight circles each with a cartoon figure that represents represents represents one of the areas of work Every week new slips of paper announcing Cooperative jobs are placed inside of one or more of these circles I Students interested in a job advertised on these posters can cango cango go to the Cooperative Education department located in the Career Action Center to find out more information r |
