G Smart i I The Building Construction Electrical and Brick Masonry programs in the Trade and Industry Department are preparing two homes for an Open House which will be held heldon on May 31 beginning at 12 noon according to Elwood Division Chair for Construction Graphics and Services for the school of Trades and Industry The two homes are located next to each other at South 2125 West Taken from cont contemporary design the two the two homes are built with brick and siding and have three finished bedrooms with a full unfinished basement indicated The homes are attractively decorated with witha a floor coverage of 1500 to 1600 square 3 J 7 o. o o. o 1 I I r I 1 1 fi f- f r. r i 1 S i JW 1 1 Craig Plant gives Jackson an E Espirit spirit De Corp feet leei sam said f The instructors who have been involved in the building of these two homes are Joe Nielson Brick Masonry instructor Davis Ross Ray Dean Wayne Paulsen and DelMar Stevens Building Construction 1 instructors and Ben Davis and Allan Thorpe Electricity instructors With one hundred students involved it has ta taken en one year to build the homes said Though both of the homes have been sold the public is invited to attend the Open House to see the work of the students and observe the construction and design of the homes stated The Open House will be hosted by the Ji j ownerS owners themselves and the Building Construction Department |
