Show home of truth by MARIE al OGDEN another monthly meeting was held on saturday afternoon to hear bear reports of work accomplished during the month at the farm outpost work at that point should be completed during the present month we have an over supply of fine fin carrots but a limited crop of potatoes and onions if anyone has an over supply of the latter for trade or purchase we will be glad to hear from vou more than a d dozen ozen 0 of f our folks attended the community dinner and afternoon service conducted b by rev wm win E parks at the musselman lodge sunday this monthly get together of members of the community church is much enjoyed and calls together tho the monticello and some of the out east members of the church mr and mrs R L wilkin of horsehead were in attendance on this occasion as were mr and mrs arthur carlson heny henry carlson and the mother of the carlson Carlso ix rn men n of boulder af after ter dinner which was served cafeteria style and included a variety of home cooked foods salads pies cakes and coffee the dining hall was cleared and rearranged for the afternoon meeting rev mr parks spoke on christian citizenship arid and emphasized the importance of living our religion every day in the week as well as on sunday the meeting was well attended and the friendly fellowship extended will be long remembered 11 all of the men folks including elmer who helps out on friday after the san juan record is off the press and mailed are picking apples on shares these days thereby adding to our winter supply of necessary ry food and fruits wei we 1 are grateful for the opportunity and for the fruit thus gained our monthly news let letter ter is in preparation and will go forth as I 1 usual within a few days |
