Show home of truth by MARIE M OGDEN A blanket of snow covers every thing hing in the valley now and will likely akely stay there throughout the winter at least along the mesas A noticeable feature of the recent storm however was the absence of f wind which allowed the snow to 0 o settle without drifting we spent aly only one night at home during the past two weeks due to extra work in town but managed to go in last saturday and returned on sunday sunday morning service was held at our home rather than irk the chapel to avoid breaking a road through the snow to that point mary cameron spent monday in town coming in with the men to have some dental work done we are looking forward to our christmas dinner and afternoon I 1 party on saturday which will be held as usual at the lower community house with daisy as hostess it will be preceded with a christmas service at 1130 weather permitting we expect to see the arthur and bruce wilber families who will come over from la sal the elmer wilber family and jessie sherwood will go in for the day with us more about it next week A greater than usual amount or of christmas mail has come to our OUK desk this year all of which wilt will be acknowledged in due time ins im the meanwhile may we say thank you through this column for the lovely cards and other brances received reca ivied much of it intended for all of us and coming from friends in all parts of the country we are grateful for your good thoughts and wishes |
