Show NEWS NEI ITEMS 0 by isabelle redd mr and mrs james H eagar spent the fourth at eletra electra lake in colorado guests of mr and mrs bruce barnard they had an unusually fine time enjoying fishing and boating they returned sunday evening 0 mrs acord mother of claire acord has been visiting with her ison son and family for the past two I 1 weeks saturday mr accords vacation I 1 begins and he intends to take his family and mother to her home in spring city mr and mrs glen peterson are visiting mrs petersons parents mr ard mrs H lloyd L I 1 oyd hansen mr peterson was called and inducted into the army later he was permitted to 0 o enlist in a special officers radio school where he will receive eight months training he will leave here on july 17 mrs peterson will remain here with her parents for the present pat richmond niece of lee richey arrived in monticello for an extended visit with her uncle mr and mrs devaughn jones have had as house guests the othe post week misses norma and ida hy hyle le of detroit mrs jones met these ladies when she was attending the palmer institute in the michigan city some years ago and they became fast friends on saturday mr and mrs jones the misses hyle mr and mrs glen peterson and mr and mrs willard Bar barlage made a trip to the goosenecks Goos enecks and other scenic wonders in that neighborhood bo the misses hyle started on their homeward journey on wednesday morning 0 D john rogers and william R young visited the high priests quorum here sunday and also attended I 1 sunday school and fast meeting services here 0 arthur anderson has been ill in a grand junction hospital for the past ten days his daughter margaret received a phone call from him requesting her to come to his bedside she left at once accompanied by her f friend miss mis maurine hunt hun it is hoped that mr anderson will come through successfully if operated upon 0 sunday mr and mrs clyde jensen brought their infant daughter to church where she was christened and received the name of sandra py 0 mr and mrs william childs who have resided here for some time have moved to farmington new mexico they are a talented family who will be missed here the good wishes of this athis community go with them |
