The Davis County Mental Health Bountiful Unit is in need of a receptionist-secretary, four hours every Tuesday morning with a length of commitment of six months. Responsibilities include answering answer-ing the telephone, greeting clients, informing staff of appointments, appointment cancellations and-or changes, and referring clients to the appropriate staff person. Good listening skills are essential, as well as a pleasant personality. On the job training will be pro-vidied. pro-vidied. Because of the essentially personal nature of the work, volunteers volun-teers in this position must be able to maintain client confidentiality and act in a professional manner at all times. The Davis County United Way and Helpline Information and Referral Re-ferral Service located in Farming-ton Farming-ton could use volunteers to enter data on the computer, proofing reports, re-ports, and making phone calls. Office hours are 8:30-5, Monday through Friday. Volunteer hours are very flexible. There is a plentiful supply of students stu-dents ages 12-15 who are willing to do domestic jobs, such as babysit- |
