Show ac edar cedar P point by MARY DIARY FOFF the farmers are disappointed by the rain that has hindered them in harvesting their crops altho its fine fina to put the ground in evv alj 1 for fall what the trustus Tru bill carters and mrs C G ra croft were visitors in the R F medley home the past week little donna carter and patricia lucius were absent from school last week with colds and sore throats several of the neighbors met at mr and mrs andersons Ander sens home on saturday night and had an outdoor melon party they report a joyful time A number of the young folks on the point attended the show at dove creek sunday night mr bronson and son grant i monticello and carl butts of moab were on the point in the interests of mining saturday mr and mrs H M poff and daughters mary and lela mrs raymond carter and children mrs john trusty and daughter and mrs cora croft were callers at the home sunday eve mrs ruby medleys mother and brothers returned from washington saturday night the community sunday school was well attended sunday and a good lesson enjoyed mrs ray redd mrs donald T adams and baby were visitors on the point last friday evening mr and mrs P E carhart did a charitable deed sunday distributing melons to several of the neighbors who raise none bill funk made a business trip to dove creek monday morning mrs L B turner and daughters spent the weekend week end at home returning to dove creek tuesday morning mr and mrs buck wilson of dolores visited in the bill carter home saturday evening mr granville and bill carter of lewis were visitors in the funk home sunday the poff family are very sorry to receive word that their granddaughter carol june poff is in the hospital at stockton california very ill with erysipelas we hope to hear of her recovery soon |
