Show recipe column the following rec pe came from mrs C S wilkinson and is a special favorite with us TUNA POTATO CHIP RECIPE one can tuna fish flakes 2 or 3 hard cooked eggs 1 small potato chips make a cream sauce with about three cups of milk and season to taste add to this the eggs cut into small pieces put a layer of this mixture in a flat baking dish and add layer of tuna flakes and half of the potato chips broken into crumbs repeat with another layer of each and bake in a moderate oven about half an hour or until nicely browned CRANBERRY CONSERVE crush one can cranberry sauce add 1 diced dicea orange and 12 cup pineapple tidbits heat thoroughly in double boiler add 14 1 cup chopped almonds pour into glasses and when cold cover with paraffin especially good with toast or crackers CHOCOLATE PUFF PUDDING 3 tablespoons milk 1 square unsweetened chocolate melted 2 egg yolks slightly beaten vi tsp asp grated lemon rind vt teaspoon double acting baking powder 2 egg whites 4 confect confectioner iones s sugar add milk to chocolate and heat in double boiler stirring until smooth add gradually to egg yolks stirring until blended add lenion lemon rind add baking powder to egg whiles and beat wih rotary egg beater until stiff fold in n sugar add chocolate mixture gradually fol fold d n ng g gently but thoro ehly turn into greased baking dish watch has been sprinkled lightly with additional sugar bale bake in in a moderate oven |
