| Show A WORD IN REGARD TO I 1 TINS THIS ISSUE TO OUR READERS HEADERS we would say a word in regard to this weeks issue of the record you have noted that it contains only eight pages instead of the usual ten there are two reasons fr to this first we are without vit hout a professional fess ional linotype operator and ad are hav having ing to depend upon a couple of our boys from the valley neither of which has had over a months experience en cn the machine work that tha t tales takes much experience to handle with ac and speed therefore we are hampered in getting out a large lanze paper by our inability to set the type necessary for it second we have not deceived rec elved the usual community news from any of our outlying communities except ucolo bucolo Horse horsehead bead and blanding Blandi ig and no school news for our ou junior page except from ucolo bucolo and the monticello grades we suspect that this shortage is provably prop ably due to impassable roads from the recent melting snows we hope to be able to obtain a thoroughly experienced operator within a week or two and that our outlying alyin g correspondents will net lail fail us again unless your news reaches our office on tuesday of each week we will be unable to print it until the following week |
