Show Golden Years schedules activities The Golden Years Center is sponsoring a trip to the Peppermill in Wendover on Monday. Jan. 27. Busses will leave the Center at 9 a.m. and spend the day there, leaving leav-ing at 5:30 p.m. for Bountiful. THE FARE is $10 but each persons per-sons receives Ihe following. $10 back. 3 lucky bucks. 3 Keno tickets and three drinks. If there are two buses with 35 people in each, an extra bonus will be given. S4 for a food ticket. If there are three buses filled, there will be a free buffet ticket to each person on the trip. STOP IN at the Center and make reservations for this day of fun on Jan. 27. On Jan. 8 and 22. is the blood pressure clinic. Check the bulletin board in the center for further details de-tails on any of these items. JAN. 14 is the monthly meeting of the NARFEat 12:30 p.m. in the Art Room. Also on Jan. 14. during the lunch hour. Jean and Cal Beechcr will entertain with piano duets. On Jan. 16. J. Alden Bowers will present a travelogue on Egypt and Greece. Feryone is invited to attend. THE SOUTH Davis Chapter of American Association of Retired Persons will meet Jan. 20 in the Art Room at 12:30 p.m. The newly elected officers will take over their duties on that day. All senior citizens are invited to come to the Golden Years Center for lunch five days each week, but must make reservations the day before be-fore coming. ALL SENIOR citizens are invited in-vited to come in to the center for lunch or for classes or just for socializing, kj |
