Show Seniors Vie For Legion Scholarship Seniors of the three city and Granite district upper-division high schools will have an opportunity oppor-tunity to vie for a $50 scholarship to the University of Utah, to be presented by the Sugar House American Am-erican Legion Post 65, this spring. Three requisites must be met by candidates for the award. Good scholarship and citizenship will be deemed essentials, and relative need of the student for the money will be a factor. Two students from each of the schools will be chosen for their ability to measure up to the requirements. re-quirements. This will be given a test by the University to determine deter-mine which shall receive the award. This test, according to advance information, will have as its subject sub-ject current social problems of today. to-day. Ability alone will decide who will win the award, according to Legion Leg-ion members. Examination papers will have a number as their only identification. '-..Several other scholarships will await enterprising students this spring. Among these are the Italian-American scholarship of $90 to be presented to an American student stu-dent of Italian birth, and $25 scholarships from the University of Utah and the Utah Agricultural college to students planning to enter en-ter the field of teaching.
