Garden Club Suggested Miss Aurelia Bennion, assistant assist-ant librarian at the Sugar House Library, made known to members of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce Wednesday that the personnel of the library would lend their time and meeting room at the library for the purpose pur-pose of organizing a garden club. Miss Bennion explained that in 1947 Utah would hold its Centennial Centen-nial celebration and it has been the plans of the committee in charge to ask the cooperation of every Salt Lake home owner to beautify their yards and surroundings sur-roundings and to further this work in the Southeast section of the city, the librarians would or-gnnize or-gnnize a club to which noted gardners and artists would come and give speeches and instructions instruc-tions to persons interested in this beautification work. Anyone interested in such a club is ask to contact one of the librarians at the Sugar House -library.
