Show POLICE REPORT SHOWS BIG ACTIVITY HERE The 1954 report of the Sugar House police division revealed the boys in blue had a very busy season although there was very little to over-toot their sirens about, for Sugar House is a peaceful peace-ful place. The annual report, drawn up by Lieutenant K. M. Hopkins and submitted to Police Chief Odes B. Record by Captain F. Clark Sanford, showed: There were 2306 calls taken at the Sugar House station, compared com-pared to 2294 the year previous. Of these 393 were summons for ambulance, and 41 of these called for the resusitator, with 25 persons per-sons being revived, 16 succumbing. There were 1460 misdemeanor investigations, 23 for felonies. Traffic violations called for 1339 citations, about half of them for non-moving difficulties. Ten automobiles were recovered by the Sugar House cops. Capt. Sanford also submitted his December report which indicated there were 26 ambulance calls; 99 misdemeanor investigations and 17 felonies; nine minor arrests, one felonious, and one car was recovered. |
