Show Sugar House Queen G. L. Crowther Jr. Recite Wedding Vows Miss Nola Helen Flowers became be-came the bride of George L. Crowther, Jr., in a candlelight ceremony cer-emony Friday evening at Manor Heights. Bishop Eugene Ludwig of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiated. The attractive, popular young bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Flowers, 1219 Lorraine Dr., and Mr. Crowther is a son of Mrs. George L. Crowther, 2735 Wren Rd. BRIDE'S GOWN Fashioned of white rosepoint Chantilly lace and nylon tulle was -jooap 'aoipoq 90Bi itiim pauSisop lete neckline edged with scallop lace embroidered with seed pearls and small crystal beads. The bouffant skirt of scalloped Chant-illy Chant-illy lace over shirred tulle swept into a chapel length train. The finger-tip length veil of illusion il-lusion fell from a jeweled crown of matching lace and she carried a cascade bouquet of white roses and stepanotis. Attending the bride was Miss Marilyn Hadfield, maid of honor, Miss Janet Johnson, Miss Marcia Maddox and Miss Bonnie Jean Harman, bridesmaids. The attendants, attend-ants, in gowns of red, mint green frosted blue and frosted pink carried car-ried nosegays of glameillia flor-ettes flor-ettes and roses. Petite Jenny Wagstaf f and Becky Wagstaff, in white crystalline crystal-line dresses with pink velveteen trim, carried miniature nosegays. Mrs. Flowers chose a blue lace sheath, designed street length, for her daughter's wedding, and Mrs. Crowther wore a lace dress of dusty rose, each wore a camellia corsage. Standing with the groom as best man was Ronald Wagstaff and ushers were Vaughn Drage, Richard Flowers and Robert Lambert. Lam-bert. LAKE HONEYMOON The newlyweds are honeymooning honeymoon-ing at Lake Tahoe and in San Francisco, and will later travel to San Jose to make their home. |
