Show Business Women Round Out Tri-Club Joint Dinner Highlighting the social season for the S. H. Business ant? Professional Women's Clubs will be the joint dinner meetinp Hosts for the occasion will be Sugar House, Salt Lake and Thursday evening at Hotel Utah. Rnsign clubs. The meeting will be under the direction of the legislation committee in charge of Miss H. Claire Haines, Mrs. Genevieve H. Wilcox and Mrs. Verna C. Earl. Speaker will be Mrs. John T. Brewster, president of the Women's State Legislative Council of Utah, who will speak on "The Utah Woman and the Slum Problem." Mrs. Marcella Finlay, president presi-dent of the Utah Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, will report on tha irecent development concerning con-cerning the equal rights amendment and equal pay for comparable work bills. Mrs. Gudvor Braby, state federation legislation chariman, will report on proposed legislation governing govern-ing coroners, pure foods and drugs, and narcotics. Other features of the program pro-gram will be musical and vocal selections by a barbershop quartet, "The Revelers." |
