Show Chamber Sets '56 Activities The Sugar House Chamber of Commerce rolled up its sleeves and pitched headlong into the business of 1956 yesterday at its annual luncheon meeting" at the Beau Brummel. C. G. (Neal) White, inducted as president, gave a comprehensive compre-hensive outline of the plans projected for the coming year. Among them will be gigantic strides taken in Sugar House off-street parking, business development, de-velopment, public affairs, retail sales, incentive events and other things vital to the growth and progress of Sugar House. Ray D. Free, out-going president, presi-dent, summed up the activities of 1955, and drew warm applause ap-plause for his guidance of a program that has been, outstanding. out-standing. Mayor Adiel F. Stewart and the new Salt Lake County commissioner, com-missioner, Abram Barker, were guests of honor at the lunch. President White introduced his committee chairman and gave a brief review of what each group is anticipating for the coming year. Chairmen include : Dale Curtis, business development. de-velopment.
