Kirkland, son of George W. and Theda Kirkland, has accepted a call to serve a mission mis-sion for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New York, New York Mission. Dale's farewell will be Sunday, June 29 at 8 a.m. in the Centerville 12th Ward, 610 N. Rowland Way (100 East), Centerville. Following the farewell an open house will be held at his home, 595 E. 540 N., Centerville 12-3 p.m. Dale is a 1985 graduate of View-mont View-mont High and Seminary. He enters en-ters the MTC July 9. John N. Stubbs, son of MarJean and Byron L. Stubbs, has accepted an LDS mission call to the Taiwan, Taichung Mission. Elder Stubbs graduated from Viewmont High School in 1984. He recently attended the University of Utah and Southern Utah State College Col-lege at Cedar City. John has spent two summers as a river guide for Tour West Inc., on the Colorado and Salmon rivers. Friends and relatives are invited to attend an open house in his honor hon-or Saturday, June 28 from 7-9 p.m. at the Stubbs home, 369 N. 700 E., Bountiful. Elder Craig S. Black has accepted a call to serve in the Canada Winnepeg mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. His farewell will be held June 29 at 3:15 p.m. at the Bountiful 47th Ward, 455 S. 1200 E. Friends are invited to an open house Saturday evening June 28 from 7-9 p.m. at his home, 527 S. Moss Hill Drive. Craig is a 1985 graduate of Bountiful Boun-tiful High School and Seminary. He is the son of Stephen and Linda Black. He enters the MTC July 16 David Morgan Neville, son of Joseph and Evelyn Neville of Bountiful has completed two years of service in the Canada Vancouver Vancouv-er Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He will report his mission on Sunday, June 29 at 1:45 p.m. in the Bountiful 50th Ward, 540 North 1200 East. Following the service David will be honored at an open house at the Neville residence, 1476 E. Vineyard Drive to which friends and relatives are invited. Cindy Bullock has been called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to labor in the Michigan Dearborn Mission for a period of 18 months. Cindy is the daughter of Kenneth G. and Carolyn Eames Bullock. She graduated from Woods Cross High in 1983 and has attended BYU and the University of Utah. She is currently employed at Utah Bank and Trust where she has worked the last two years. Her farewell will be held June 29 at 1:30 p.m. at the Woods Cross Stake Center, 2064 S. 800 W., Woods Cross. An open house will be held June 29 from 3 5 p.m. at the Bullock home, 2044 S. Sorrento Dr., Woods Cross. Cindy will report to the Missionary Mis-sionary Training Center. on Wednesday, July 2. Elder John Pratt has been called to the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. Mis-sion. He will speak prior to departure on June 29 at 10:50 a.m. at 650 E. 1400 N. at the 53rd Ward. He enters the MTC July 2. r. i -' i ELDER HOPSON Elder Steve Hopson returned home June 20 after successfully completing a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints in the Finland Helsinki Mission. Steve is the son of Tony and Nancy Hopson. He will report on his mission Sunday, June 29 at 1:50 p.m. in the Bountiful 24th Ward, 720 E. 550 N. "" If ' i t,i J A L ELDER THACKER Elder Shane Thacker has been called to the Leeds England Mission. Mis-sion. He is the son of Roy and Beverly Be-verly Thacker. A farewell will be held in his honor hon-or Sunday, June 29 at the Bountiful 19th Ward at 3: 15 p.m., 1450N. 400 E., Bountiful. Shane graduated from Viewmont View-mont High School and LDS Seminary. Semi-nary. He was active in sports, high school and college rodeo where he has received many honors. He attended Utah Tech of Provo this past year. He enters the MTC July 16. |
