Show - MY XMAS SHOPPING LIST One of these days I must gx shopping! I am completely out of self-respect. I want to exchange the self -righteousness I picked up the other day fbr some humility which they say isless expensive and wears better. I want to look at some tolerance which is being1 used for wraps this season. Someone showed me some pretty samples of peace. We are a little low on that and we can neer have too much of it. And by the way, I must try , to match some patience that my neighbor wears. It is so becoming on her and I think some might look equally well on me. I might try on that Uttle garment of long suffering they are displaying. 1 never thought I wanted to wear It, but I feel myself coming to it. Also I must not forget to have my sense of humor mended and look for some inexpensive goodness. Ifs surprising how quickly one's stock of good is depleted. Yes, I must go shopping soon! Few people ever put Christ on their "Shopping list." In all the vast crowds, not one in 10,000 is looking for a present to give Him. His name never appears on these long secret lists along with Aunt Sarah and Cousin Joe. ... Possibly this because a few realize that no gift on sale at any store would be suitable. Tragically, the far greater truth is, that some of us never think of making a CfcrtatmM gift.te Christ. |
