Show ST. ANN'S TOTS MEET SANTA, ENJOY PARTIES The annual Christmas party for . the children of St. Ann's orphanage orphan-age was held Saturday when Santa made his first visit to the youngsters young-sters of the institution and the children of the parish. Children and their elders were entertained with" a program' featuring fea-turing a juggling and balancing act by Steve Campbell of Bountiful. Bounti-ful. Immediately following the entertaining enter-taining program, gifts of nuts and candies were distributed by Santa after which he made his entrance to the tune of sleigh bells. Qther holiday fetes for the children chil-dren was a party at the Moose lodge at the organization's club house and on Thursday they were guests at a luncheon at the New-house New-house hotel given by the staff of the county sheriff's office, and each child was presented with a gift. Santa visited the children Tuesday Tues-day afternoon with more gifts of candy and nuts under the auspices of the Salt Lake Police Mutual Aid association. Christinas dinner will feature two large turkeys, a gift of Sears Roebuck Roe-buck and company and the manager, man-ager, Ed W. Jenkins. |
