Show FETE OLDSTERS AT UPL PARTY A total of 18,000 years of working work-ing experience in the electric utility util-ity industry were represented April 11 when some 600 veteran employees employ-ees of Utah Power and Light company com-pany gathered for their 18th annual an-nual Veterans club party. The event was held at Hotel Utah. The veterans, with service records rec-ords ranging up to 50 years with UP&L, represented just under one-third one-third of the company's total working work-ing force. The veterans, with their partners paid tribute to 102 of their own number, plus 31 newcomers new-comers who are slated to receive special service pin. E. M. Naughton UP&L president presi-dent and general manager, made the presentations. |
