Show Giant Art Exhibit Tonight Doors of the Holladay elementary element-ary school will open at 7 o'clock tonight for the Holladay Community Commu-nity art exhibit. Originally sponsored by the Holladay Hol-laday Parent-Teacher Association, the annual exhibit has expanded into an art show enthusiastically enteied into by the people of Holladay. Hol-laday. Many departments of art will be included in the show. Ceramics, pottery and china will be displayed under the direction of Mrs. Keith Brown. John Flanagan will head the metal work exhibit; Mrs. John Sharp, antiques; Mrs. William Hos-kisson, Hos-kisson, leathercraft; Mrs. Allen Hampshire, handiwork; Mrs. Rex Dennis, figures; John Kasteler, woodwork; Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Severson, photography, colored slides and home movies. Of special interest will be the gun collection entered by P. O. Ackley, noted gunsmith and Holladay Holla-day resident. Also featured will be a photographic photo-graphic display of black and whites, colored slides and movies entered by the Holladay Art-Graphic club. Included in the exhibit will be art work of the Holladay elementary element-ary school children as well as displays of pupils from both Olympus Olym-pus junior and senior high schools. Mrs. Keith Brown and Mrs. Clyde Thompson are general chairmen chair-men of the show while Mrs. John Flanagan is in charge of publicity. Repierenting the P-TA is Mrs. John Kasteler. V. Francis Bailey, principal of Holladay elementary school, will arrange the students' displays. To accommodate the public the art exhibit will also be open Friday Fri-day evening from 7 to 10 p.m. |
