Show Bt-.j-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r Utahns Work In Arctic Deep-Freeze land, 1265 Yale ave., recently completed com-pleted the military police officer basic course at the Provost Marshal Mar-shal General's School, Camp Gordon, Gor-don, Ga. Lieutenant Weggeland was graduated from the University of Utah just prior to entering the Army last September. Eugene F. Bishop, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis C. Bishop, 1160 Sherman ave., recently was promoted to Army specialist third class in Germany, where he is a member of the 4th Infantry Division. Two Salt Lake City soldiers, Specialist Third Class Wayne F. Goodman, 21, and PFC Ervin R. Perrenoud, 24, are taking part in the Army's Alaskan "Exercise Moose Horn" in the Big Delta area, 165 miles from the Arctic Circle. During the four-week maneuver several thousand troops will receive re-ceive pratical training in tactical operations and cross-country movement under simulated combat com-bat conditions. Winter temperatures tempera-tures in the region drop to about 50 degrees below zero. Specialist Goodman, son of Frank R. Goodman, 3664 S. 20th E., is regularly assigned as a supply sup-ply clerk in Headquarters Battery Bat-tery of the 71st Infantry Division's Divi-sion's 274th Armored Field Artillery Artil-lery Battalion in Alaska. He entered en-tered the Army in June, 1954,' and received basic training at Fort Ord, Calif. Goodman arrived in Alaska in November, 1954. Specialist Goodman, a 1952 graduate of Granite High School, attended the University of Utah. Specialist Third Class J. K. Rasband, son of Irving K. Ras-band, Ras-band, . 1264 E. Stratford ave., is a member of the 5th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion in Wiesbaden, Wies-baden, Germany. Rasband is a 1953 graduate of South High School. Army 2nd Lt. Gordon G.
