James Cannon, executive secretary sec-retary of the Sugar House Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce. He's never to busy for one more job. Jim's zeal arnbition, speed and efficiency in getting things done has placed him out front in all Sugar House affairs. It goes without saying that Jim loves life, people and work, for these are the tools for achievement achieve-ment and success. A latter day example of his pioneer heritage he served on an LDS mission in the islands, has been a bishop, a capacity he is now filling for the second time and this time in the Monument Park 5th Ward. There has always al-ways been time for Jim to be active in civic affairs and he has been a diligent worker in Rotary, Sons of Utah Pioneers and other such organizations. But with all these activities and time consuming consum-ing jobs, Jim takes time to be just "Dad" to his family of four daughters and two sons. Former publisher of the News Bulletin, he now edits the interesting inter-esting and timely "Chamber Chatter" column, and with only an eight hour day and all his outside out-side activities he manages to run his own business, Printer's Inc. Sugar House can never overlook the qualities of this man who is always building Sugar House, and at promotion times does just a little more. It has been justly said of him, "he is big in size, big in brains and big in getting things done." And one comparatively new Sugar Sug-ar House businessman put it this way, "I've never seen such a man. In my opinion he is Mr. Sugar House." |
