Show Old Fashioned Dollar Davs Are Friday and Saturday Retail Merchants Stage "Value Days" To Open Sugar House Promotion Year The bargain barrage booms again for Sugar House this week end and general chairman, Bill Moore, genial manager of W. T. Grant Co., reports that shelves and counters are brimming with merchandise at "real old fashion prices." Sugar House is decked with colorful banners hanging from the light poles, and lapel cards add a "Dollar Day" air to business men and clerks attire. Sparking the two day affair will be the annual employe breakfast break-fast Friday, Feb. 24, 7:30 a. m. in the J. C. Penney Co. basement. A lively program has been arranged ar-ranged by Peggy Gunderson, secretary sec-retary at South East Furniture. It will include lovely Elinore Bartlett, Miss Sugar House, her attendants,, Carol Lane and Sharon Shar-on Coker, Sugar House royalty, with vocals by Carol. Emerson Smith and Alvin C. Pack, radio personalities, will enliven the morning feast as masters of ceremonies. The chamber of commerce com-merce has bidden every member and all his employees to attend the repast. Spearheading plans for the event have been Bill Moore and his assistants, Paul Henneman, Frankie Nielson, Jimmy Brown and Frank Stevenson with C. G. '"Neal" White, chamber president and D. James Cannon, executive secretary, contributing their zealous zeal-ous support. "Dollar Days at old-fashioned prices" will be a sure bet for success with the biggest payroll day in the month teaming with the fact Sugar House business men are offering the biggest values val-ues of the year. |
