Show HOLIDAY DOOR PRIZES TOLD BY BPW GROUP Winners of the Christmas door decorating contest sponsored by the Sugar House Business and Professional Profes-sional Women's club were announced an-nounced this week by Mrs. Charles Lay, publicity chairman. The first prize of $25 was awarded award-ed to Robert G. Evans, 212 Wellington; Well-ington; second prize of $10 to Clarence Clar-ence Olson, 2448-8th East, and the third prize went to G. A. Allen, 1328 Allen Park arive. Honorable mentions went to Joseph Jo-seph S. Savage, 2270 Blaine Ave.; Budge Hyde, 1875 McClelland; P. J. McDermott, 1549 Ramona, and John E. Hill, 2273 Garfield. Judges for the second annual contest were Prof. George S. Dibble, assistant art director of the University Uni-versity of Utah; Harold D. Olson, associated in art department of the university, and who just recently recent-ly field a show at the Nilson are gallery in Sugar House. Mrs. Lay reported a wonderful response to the contest and said the women expect to make it a tradition of the BPW organization. |
