Show ST. ANN'S PLANS RECEPTION FOR 2 PASTORS An informal reception will be held January 6 for Rev. Thomas J. Kaiser who is leaving, and also for Rev. Thomas F. Butler, the new pastor at St. Ann's. Father Kaiser's many friends are invited to the reception to say goodbye to him before he leaves for his new assignment in Moab. M-ntic-tllo and Green Ri-.er, Utah. St. Ann's parish will pay tribute to Father Kaiser for his great help in uniting the parish in many activities, ac-tivities, both spiritual and social. At this occasion, parish members and their friends will also have the opportunity of greeting and welcoming the new pastor. A program has been planned by the St. Ann's Men's club and Ladies La-dies of St. Ann's to begin at 8 p. m. in the parish hall, 430 East 21st South. Charles A. Madigan will speak , briefly in behalf of the parish and will also be in charge of the program. pro-gram. Phillip Gregerson, well known local lo-cal tenor, will sing "Ave Maria" by Schubert and "The Rosary" by Nevin. The Judge Memorial School Glee club will sing. Plans for the evening are under the direction of Gil Hanley, president presi-dent of the Men's club, and Mrs. Mary Wood, president of the Ladies La-dies of St. Ann's. Working with them are John Brugenhemke, vice president; Paul Robertson, secretary, secre-tary, and Jim Goodday, treasurer. The hostesses for the evening will be Mrs. Lewis Gillett and Mrs. David Davis. Mrs. Paul McGill heads the refreshment committee and is being assisted by Mrs. James N. Neilson.
