Show BOAT HARBOR DEAL SIGNED; PROJECT OPEN With two acres of Utah lake waterfront on its northern shores signed, sealed and delivered, the Boat Harbor club was in business this week. Dr. Guy A. Richards, captain, announced Utah national guard, Utah Fish & Game commission and Utah county equipment would begin be-gin at once to dredge the channel, change the intake stream flow and fill the swamp bottom lands. The club will construct adequate piers, channel, recreation area and other facilities to make the harbor an attraction to all northern Utah county folk, the captain reported. Meeting originally dated for May 28 has been postponed because of the American Fork high school graduation and the junior chamber cham-ber of commerce state dance at Lagoon. Dr. Richards said another day would be fixed soon for the organizational meeting. |
