Show westminster sraduation AFFAIRS OATED The Westminster College commencement com-mencement program begins Friday, Fri-day, with the annual Founders Day Chapel, set at 9:30 a. m., for the faculty. A noon luncheon will be served, affer which sports events will be held. Baccalaureate will be held Sunday, Sun-day, May 23, in the First Presbyterian Presby-terian church. Faculty and candidates can-didates for A. B., B. S. and A. A. dgrees will assemble at the church at 3:30 to form the procession. The speaker for the Bacciv-Iaurcate Bacciv-Iaurcate service will be Rev. F. S. (Dick) Wichman, director of Cameron House, San Francisco. The traditional illumination rites will be Thursday evening at 9:30 p. m., when the students gather on the west of Ferry Hall and bring offering for the big bonfire. bon-fire. The Commencement will be Saturday, Sat-urday, May 29, at 2:30 p. m. in the Dane Hansen Stadium. The procession proces-sion will begin at Converse Hall. Dr. E. Fay Campbell executive secretary of the division of higher high-er education of the board of Christian education of the Presbyterian Pres-byterian church of the United States, will be the speaker. Following the commencement exercises the presidents reception will be held in the new student lounge. The annual farewell banquet will be Saturday at 7 p. m. in the Florentine Room of the Newhouse Hotel. |
