Show Barkdull-Gundersen Engagement Revealed At Luncheon Party Among November brides will be charming Miss Geri Barkdull, whose engagement and approaching approach-ing marriage to Paul Rich Gunder-sen, Gunder-sen, was announced at a lovely luncheon in the Garden Room of Harman's in Sugar House Saturday. Satur-day. Hostesses were Mrs. L. N. Bark-dull, Bark-dull, grandmother of the bride-elect and her aunts, Mrs. Homer K. Peterson and Mrs. Ralph Kirkham. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mrs. Calvin W. Johnson, 886 E. 7800 South, and the late Thad L. Barkdull. Mr. and Mrs. Howard B. Gunder-sen, Gunder-sen, 1830 Gundersen Lane, are the parents of the future bridegroom. The theme was a "party line" with white chrysanthemums and gold ribbon artistically arranged as the table decorations. Miniature telephone poles and wires and small telephones inscribed in-scribed with the message revealed the nuptial news. The young couple have chosen Nov. 13 to recite their wedding vows in the Salt Lake Temple to be followed by a reception the same evening in the Park Stake Center. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will host the reception. |
