Show HIGHLAND MIA OUTINGS ARE ARRANGED Highland stake MIA organizations organiza-tions are completing arrangements for several summer outings to be held this month, according to Sylvia Syl-via Dixon, stake presidenti On Friday, August 15, the stake MIA executives and partners will attend a steak fry held in Porters Fork at the cabin of Mark and Betty Wheeler. The ladies, presidency presi-dency makes up the committee and includes Mrs. Dixon Mrs. Wheeler and Gene Patterson. Saturday night, August 16, the Scouts and Beehive Girls will frolic at the Wagwam. There will be swimming, baseball and other outdoor out-door activities. Stake Scout Man Jack Everett and Beehive Leaders' Janice Wells and Hazel Thatcher are in charge of this party. The stake M Men and Gleaners will gather at the Spruces in Big Cottonwood canyon at 7 p. m. on August 21 for an evening of fun and food. Handling details of the event are Mr. and Mrs. Karl Axel-sen. Axel-sen. The final MIA outing will be held Saturday, August 23, at the Wigwam, when the MIA Maids and Explorers participate in an outing planned by MIA Maid leaders lead-ers Arvilla McMMrray and Louise Tanner and Scoutmaster Taggart. |
