Show eSllffil SET AT COLLEGE, Westminster college annual carnival car-nival will he held Saturday, Feb. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Payne gymnasium. gym-nasium. Making the carnival more colorful color-ful than ever will be the 32 students stu-dents from the Intermountain Indian school at Brigham City. Other special numbers will he Greek dancers in unique, national costumes, hula dancers wearing" leis flown from Hawaii, Mexican dances performed by a group trained by Miss Louise Cramer of East high school Spanish department depart-ment and including French and German numbers. Adding to the color of the event will be Ben Imoh, Nigeria, Africa, wearing a tribal robe. Featured will be the booths of international foods of the countries depicted in the carnival costuming. The carnival is sponsored by Alpha chapter of Sigma Pi Alpha, a national honorary language fraternity. fra-ternity. Proceeds from the affair are used for a student scholarship for foreign travel and study and a program of foreign movies. Officers of the fraternity in charge of the event are William Gold, Myrna Bode, Helen Austin, Sara Erickson and Lois Blackham. The public is invited. |
